CHI YOGA ~ will help students to gradually develop a general understanding of both Yoga and ‘Chi Kung’.Yoga and Chi Kung are both ancient eastern sciences~ they are not religions and can be practiced by people of all faiths and beliefs. Chi Kung is a Martial art but this style is a non violent form~ a moving meditation (Chi Kung translates in English to"Energy Work".) It has similarities to Tai-Chi and is performed in a safe and a non-competitive manner as is Yoga. Correct breathing and different forms of breath are an important part of both Chi Kung and Yoga, this also manifests in Chi Yoga. Chi Yoga combines the best of two very similar worthy disciplines, which can help us to improve ourselves regardless of personality or lifestyle. These classes offer greater flexibility, strength, and relaxation to anyone who is prepared to spend a little of their time and energy. The practice of Yoga and Chi Kung are investments in oneself, with regular practice people are able to improve their everyday quality of life.

TEACHER Robi Shub
* Robi has been practicing Yoga and martial arts for many years, and grew up in a family where yoga has been an integral part of their lifestyle. He is a fully qualified Holistic Yoga Teacher ~his training and certification included instruction in the physical, philosophical, and anatomical elements of yoga. He is also a Kung Fu adept, and holds a red sash (equivalent to a black belt) and is trained in Tai Chi, Hsing-I, Chi Kung and Wing Chun he is currently learning Muay Thai kick boxing.
This means his students are very well behaved ( Just joking).
He is a university student and well on the on the way to completing his Psychology degree.
Robi is committed to providing clear instruction in the central physical and philosophical concepts which will allow students to improve their flexibility and strength, while learning simple techniques for releasing mental and physical tension.
